Peace

This week we covered the Peace that Jesus gives to us. Remember that it's something we need to take. Just like salvation, we choose to claim it. We didn't get through everything, and there's some great stuff in your books. Do the questions on pages 47 & 48, and I'll give out prizes. If you choose to take it. Have a great week.

Back in Action

As the Summer winds to an end, we're back to Sunday School as normal (?) next week, August 24. Be there in the "pool table side" at 9:00.  I can't wait.

Here are some more significant events.

• Sunday, September 7th:  Outdoor Service.
  
• Wednesday, September 10th:  Rite of Passage into Youth Group.
• Sunday, September 14th:  Promotion Sunday.

If the 7th is rained out, it pushes everything ahead (or back, I never know which) one week.  Outdoor service will be on the 14th and Promotion Sunday is on the 21st. 

We'll take the next couple of weeks working from the book.  Then we'll take a few weeks to go through the topics the class came up with.
